Chris Mariner - Electric Guitar
Biography
Chris Mariner has been playing guitar for nearly 20 years, and although he's been teaching for more than half that time, he consistently strives to maintain a "beginners mind". After earning his B.A. in music from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Chris moved back home to southern CT, where he lives and teaches today. Chris can be heard in a wide variety of ensembles ranging from straight-ahead jazz to experimental electronic outfits. However varied his musical pursuits may be, one constant is the element of improvisation; exploring the endless possibilities of the moment at hand.
