Private music lessons: how it works

Finding the right music teacher is a challenge, but New York Jazz Workshop will help meet your specific needs. There are several factors to consider before choosing your instructor: skill level, goals, time constraints, and budget. We are here to break it all down and help you make the perfect connection.
We have an incredible roster of teachers for all instruments in our database, they are ready to guide the way. Not in the NYC area? No problem, we also offer Skype lessons.

Three student levels: Beginners (B), Intermediate (I) and Advanced (A)
The price varies per teacher and the duration of the lesson is commonly one hour. Prices vary accordiing to the teacher's rate. Although our teachers may have different areas of expertise, all the teachers in our program have to meet our strict criteria to insure that you get the quality and experience that you deserve.

The New York Jazz Workshop offers lessons for most instruments including: guitar, saxophone,
flute, clarinet, vibraphone, piano, trumpet, trombone, bass and double bass, drums and percussion, as well as voice lessons, thepory, ear training, jazz improvisation and composition.

Any of the lessons above and the workshops listed on this site can be presented as a gift. Just follow the registration procedure and we will do the rest. Make sure you specify in the registration form that it is a gift so that we can prepare the gift certificate.
