Musicians from all over the globe have turned to the New York Jazz Workshop “Summer Summit Series” to improve their performance. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, we ensure that you will leave the Workshop with tons of new and exciting ideas about how to ameliorate your playing.

Each year we offer a series of four-day summer programs lead by the nation’s leading educators and performers who are dedicated to providing an intensive learning experience for musicians of all levels. The 2012 program includes an Improvisation Workshop, a Vocal Workshop, a Guitar Workshop and a Drums and Percussion Workshop, all presented in the heart of Manhattan, just around the corner from Times Square.

Our Summer Workshops are different from any other summer jazz program in that we only accept a maximum of 10 students in each class. With this approach we ensure that each student gets individual attention, making this workshop an intense and profound experience.

The Workshops' enrollment is strictly limited, and admittance is based on level and first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to refuse registrations as space and instrumentation limitations require.

Everybody gets an equal chance to sign up. But remember that we only accept a total of 10 students:  we turn people away every year - sign up early!
